Stopped on a rare sunny spring day before Easter. Omg this place is a treat if you want to really enjoy sitting on the river with good food and a glass of wine. The lobster roll is legit! I had asparagus side and it was she best asparagus I've ever had at a restaurant. Overall a perfect day. I don't understand the reviews. Go here!!!

Ambience is great. Right on the river and a bike path actually goes through the outdoor area. Service was solid Had calamari to open. Good but sauce is mainly what made it. Sweet and hot. Had two drinks one paws for dogs which wasn't bad but not my favorite. The top drink with pineapple coconut and nutmeg I liked but wanted to try the Kenny Chesney drink next Fish and chips were good. Fish was very crunchy in a good way. Fries were fine. Coleslaw was fine. Friend got salmon sandwich and they asked how it was cooked bc all sushi grade seafood and she enjoyed it

We ate lunch out on the deck on a summer weekend. We got a table right away, and the waitress was prompt. Enjoyed the view watching the activity at the marina and on the river. Also really liked my boba peach bellini. The food was fine but less stellar. Hubby's buffalo chicken wrap was spicy and enjoyable, but only after it exploded onto the table, his lap, and the floor when he tried to pick it up. We agreed the fries were quality. Not very hungry, I was thinking of the shrimp skewer and house salad but let the waitress talk me into the poke dish that was also on the appetizer menu. It is not an appetizer unless you're sharing it. I could only eat half and had to take the rest for lunch. It didn't keep, because it inexplicably comes drenched in sauce, and then there's a cup of more Wasabi than most people can use and a second cup of sauce. Delicious, but extraneous.

This place was such a relaxing hang out spot. We enjoyed their cocktails and patio seating. You really feel like you are not in pittsburgh when you dine here. Service was really nice and we were sat very quickly. Food was good overall but not the best.

Redfin is a sunny, happy, outdoor, waterside restaurant and bar. Good Vibes type of ambiance :) The food already smells delicious just walking up ..... Every time I have come here (3yrs now), I always feel welcomed and the service has always been consistent, efficient and friendly. This last time I had the "peel and eat," fresh shrimp mmm. The dish was plentiful and shareable . The dip that was offered was a cocktail sauce with a hint of horseradish. I paired that with a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. I recommend when the weather is nice to pull up a chair at this little hidden gem on the Allegheny River!! Cheers

This is a favorite summer spot for me! I love having the option to drive, boat or bike ride to Redfins ! With a ton of outdoor seating overlooking the water or tucked away with solar lights and tables with umbrellas for shade, you can't go wrong with where you are seated! The service is usually pretty decent, but when it is busy, it is BUSY. You may experience some longer wait times but the staff has always been extremely nice and accommodating! There is also indoor/outdoor bar seating which is a great option if you are stopping by for a quick beverage and then some minimal indoor seating. This location is next to a marina so you can spend the day eating while watching them load in and out boats which is really cool to see. Today we ordered the calamari which was displayed on a wood block with sautéed peppers and a Thai chili dipping sauce - highly recommended! I had the peel and eat shrimp as my entree which was steamed where the shells literally fell right off which made it easier for me. The cocktail sauce was thicker then I remember with a hint of spice which I loved. Alex had the shrimp quesadillas, they were a little burnt but they tasted juicy and had a great amount of shrimp and sautéed peppers and onions with a side of queso, sour cream and salsa! This is definitely a fun, delicious summer spot for lunch, dinner or drinks!
